DAY 2
Destination: Durban - Hluhluwe

We start early today and travel first to St Lucia, where
we take a boat trip in the wetland’s estuary.
Watch Hippos spend their time leisurely in the water,
however always observing any moves around them.
You pass Mangrove Swamps and will see various
birds from small weavers to fish eagles flying past.
The boat will give you sighting for excellent photos,
however always keeping safety, the environment and
the wild animals in mind. Afterwards proceed to
Emdoneni Lodge with the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 3
Destination: Hluhluwe

Today you will experience an early morning game
drive in open safari vehicles in one of the most
reknowned game reserves of South Africa,
Hluhluwe Umfolozi National Park. It is the oldest
game reserve in South Africa. The wide range of plant
life supports a diversity of mammals, birdlife, reptiles
and amphibians. Besides the Big Five there are elusive
cheetah, rare wild dogs and several antelope species
offering visitors an excellent Safari experience. The
National Park contains some of the largest
concentrations of black and white rhino in the
world.
Upon our return to the lodge you have time to
freshen up before we visit the lodge’s rehabilitation
centre for wild cats.
