Upon arrival at King Shaka international airport you
will be welcomed by your tour guide and enjoy a short
Durban city tour before checking in at your hotel.
One of Durban’s most popular attractions is uShaka
Marine World, one of the largest aquariums
worldwide, boasting 32 inside and outside tanks.
Visitors find fish and sea creatures ranging from small
sea horse to huge sharks. uShaka also includes a
theme park, with pools and a long water slide. From
here, visitors can stroll along the long promenade
“Golden Mile” whilst enjoying the displays of local
merchants.
The Victorian Street Market, well known for a rich
display of exotic foods, spices and curries, the Umgeni
River Bird Park with South African and exotic birds,
the Killie Campbell Museum with an Africana collection
and the Botanical Gardens with an outstanding
orchid house are worth a visit.
