Registration will open
at 06:00, an hour
before the
competition start
time.
These boat permits will be valid for 1 year
and will also be required for the 2
Driekoppies Dam events later this year.
Captains meeting will be at 06:45 at the
registration tent. Please ensure that all
anglers are present at the captains meeting
so that everyone is familiar with the LBT
rules.
Restricted Areas
Please take note that certain sections of the
dam are restricted and no fishing activities
shall take place in these sections. The
sections are clearly marked with buoys and
will be specified and discussed during the
skippers briefing on the morning of the
event.
We would like to promptly start at 07:00
and teams arriving during the captains
meeting will have to wait till after the
official blast off to register and launch.
Please arrive early to avoid any delays.
Any team found entering these areas will be
disqualified on the day of the competition.

Entry Fees
All boats are required to have a boating
permit obtainable from building D26 at the
Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency
located next to the Halls Farm stall on the
N4 outside Nelspruit or any other MPTA.
Please contact MPTA to obtain information
regarding boat permits available in different
cities.
Entry fees to Nature Conservation will be
R40 per person and R80 per boat. These are
compulsory for all anglers.
The entry fee for the Nooitgedacht LBT
event will be R500 per team.
Overnight
accommodation
The costs of the permits are R50 per boat.

Angling Times Weekly SA
Anglers will be able to camp at Nature
conservation at a cost of R100 per person
per night. Please contact Nature
Conservation at Nooitgedacht dam for
arrangements.
