Competitions
The annual Nationals were held
over the last week. Henties Bay
won the club championship (445
kg) with Mako in second (407kg)
and Orca in third place (376kg).
The best angler overall was Leon
Krause with the heaviest non-edi-
ble being a Bronze Whaler
caught by Sean Oberg.
Boats
Hardly any fish are making size but there are
plenty of undersized fish. Sharks can be a
problem as they “tax” the angler quite
frequently.
