NSRI Hartbeespoort was activated at 21h00,
Friday, 14th April, following a call received
from a former NSRI crewman who had been
advised that two local gentlemen were stuck in
the thick Hyacinth 600 meters from The
Aquatic Club and had run out of fuel. This call
was backed up by a message from the ACR
(Active Crime Response) control room who had
been alerted by friends of the fishermen.
