2017
11 March saw 44 teams entering the 2nd tournament stop of 2017 to test their angling skills against nature and one another .
a tough decision had to be taken in the weeks leading up to the event
to change venues from the scheduled Driekoppies back to Vygeboom
dam which meant a first ever Vygeboom back to back event . The large amounts of rain and rising water levels contributed massively to poor fishing at all venues with Vygeboom dam being the most stable dam of the lot . Relatively cooler weather leading up to the weekend and a full moon on the weekend were sure indicators of some difficult fishing ahead .
Changing the venue proved to be the correct choice as a total of 22 teams filled their limit of 5 bass during the day .
Respectable Fish 7 Year old Blake Grobler with one of the larger fish caught on the day .
