The next day the fish began to bite and they got into the big Carp big time .
a persistent drizzle fell . Martin was halfway through his morning coffee when the only other rod with a line in the water took off with a screeching run . Martin had to fight the fish from the bank , which was not easy . He landed a 59 pound Carp – a new dam record . Their hope improved and they get new inspiration . The fish were there .
That day they were not fishing and could only dream of those big ones right in front of them . Duncan went to town to buy materials to repair the Transom . Bad luck struck again when Duncan was robbed at gun-point . All Martin ' s bank cards were taken , but by the grace of God Duncan was not injured . The Transom material was already bought . With the fixed transom they got 8 lines out in the late afternoon . They were excited . Things took a turn for the best .
