ohitomi & Co., Ltd is located in the
small town of Tojo, Japan. Its history
goes back as far as 1892, when fish
earn extra income. Late Mr. Tomitaro Dohi,
thought of mechanizing the industry. As no
electric power was available in that age, he
used an old-fashioned oil engine and began
manufacturing Japan’s first machine-made
hooks in 1910.
