Talking about Marlin fishing, Marlin fishing is
considered by many to be the pinnacle of sea
fishing. The Marlins size, power and elusiveness
make for an exciting experience. Ask any angler
and they will remember their first Marlin catch
like it was yesterday. You are not truly a deep sea
fisherman until you have hooked a Marlin and
Sodwana Bay is the place to do it.
A catch that will certainly live on in the record
books is the 521.4kg Blue Marlin caught by Lappies Labuschagne on 18 May 2007, only 40kgs
short of the world record. An absolute monster!
