Overcast with some rain, the sea was Pearl was estimated to be between 0.8 m to 1m. The rod was already set up the night before, so I grabbed my bag and I set off. I had My Assassin Power Master X/Heavy fitted with a Sustain 5000 with 30 lb Braid, I started off with an Owner 6' Smoking Shad Minnow on a 1.5 oz Jighead. Hitting my stretch I started to throw for that Special GT, always hoping for that Mother of all Mother's, would it be today I get to My Quest For The Holy Grail!!! GT well here's hoping half way into my stretch BOOOOOM My line went tight I was on I could definitely feel I had a GT on, not big but an adrenaline smash is worth gold in the bank. Giving Me a good revving I managed to keep it off the bricks and slowly brining him closer to shore using very little waves, I managed to land him - nice fella got My pic tagged and released him back safely.
