Australia wins silver in World Hip Hop Championship
AUSTRALIA finally achieved
success at the 13th annual
World Hip Hop Dance
Championship in the USA.
A silver medal was awarded
to Australian adult team
ZBoyz on August 10 at
Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
IT is the first time that Australia ever won a medal in
the World Hip Hop Dance
Championship, dubbed the
hip-hop dance Olympics of
the world.
The ZBoyz hail from
Brisbane City. The six-man
crew is led by choreographer Matthew Gavet and
was competing together in
the championship for the
very first time. They were
up against 77 teams from
across 46 countries. They
finished second overall in
the world.
