FLAG RITES AND BREAKFAST AT THE CONSULATE
The Philippine Consulate in Sydney hoisted the Philippine Flag at the consulate’s Bulwagang Rizal in rites led by Consul-General Anne Jalando-on Louis. The ceremony was followed by a breakfast with Filipino community leaders. The consul-general read the Independence Day message from President Benigno Aquino III: “Let this commemoration of our ancestors’ heroism be not just a portion of our country’s glorious and exciting narrative, but also a reminder for everyone that we are our
