The little ones enjoyed a lot of fun showcasing their talent and llooks at the pageant segments such as the Filipiniana, swimsuit and gown parades. Every candidate was a title winner. The final results were: Isabella Kate Anasson, Little Miss Philippines Australia 2018; Aalihah Bella Chan, Little Miss Philippines Australia first runner-up; Aurora McEvoy, Little Miss Charity Queen Australia 2018; sabella Kate AnassonLittle Miss Charity Princess Australia 2018. Other titleists were: Aaliyah Simoune Acosta, Little Miss Photogenic; Aurora McEvoy, Little Miss Popularity; Adrielle Morales, Little Miss Charming; Aaliah Bella Chan, Little Miss Adorable; Isabella Kate Anasson, Little Miss Filipiniana; Isabella Kate Anasson, Cute in Swimwear; Isabella Kate Anasson, Little Miss Elegant. Transgender pageant takes off THE inaugural Miss Transgender Global Queen (MTGQ) was held at this year’s Fiesta Kultura. The event added another colour and excitement to the Fiesta. The pageant’s objective of establishing a platform for transgender women to express their self- identity and to showcase their talent and individuality was positively acknowledged by the crowd. The coveted crown was won by Lianne Domingo in a very close and tight contest, so tight that the judges were asked to reconvene to make the final decision as the two candidates were tied for the top spot. First runner-up was Shantz Chamos. Special awards went to Iyana Francisco as Ms Congeniality and Best In Swimsuit; Shantz Chamos as Ms Popularity and Best In National Costume; Liane Domingo as Ms Photogenic, Best In Talent, Best In Evening Gown. www.kalatas.com.au AK NewsMagazine, Vol 9 No 1 | OCTOBER 2018 09
