Abordo boards Pogi Masters
PAUL Abordo scored 42 Stableford
points from a handicap 15, to win
the 2nd Phil-Oz (Pogi) Masters
Invitational at Campbelltown Golf
Club on Sunday, September 17.
The Invitational was presented by Active
Property Investing.
Overall champion Abordo won on a
count-back under the Stableford scoring
system, taking home a monumental trophy
and a $500 cash prize.
Phillip Taualofai with his score of 38
points using his handicap of 14 topped Grade
A on a count-back.
He was followed by Jimmy Gonzales with
the same score but using his handicap of 17
as runner-up.
Arnel Zaguirre with his score of 37 points
using his handicap of 25 took the Grade B via
count-back.
Nathan Truong followed with the same

score, losing on handicap via count-back as
runner up.
Andrew Hong with his score of 42 points
with a handicap of 30 was the Grade C winner,
beating Chris Latsombath who scored 41
points using his handicap of 32 to finish
runner up.
All Grade winners received trophies plus
$200 cash prize. All Grade runners-up were
awarded with trophies plus $100 cash prize.
Novelty winners received $20 each on
all eighteen (18) holes divided and classified
equally by grades.
Putting competition with pot of $100
was won my Nap Estrada. He beat 53 other
golfersgolfers.
Pogi president Noel Santos thanked
Active Property Investing for the major
sponsorship the second time, and other
sponsors including Link Finance Group,
Gravity Wealth Financial Investments, Golden
Glove Travel and Masagana Asian Groceries.
Emma Allen, director and principal
consultant of Active Property Investing
received a plaque of appreciation along with
other sponsors.
At registration, all golfers were given
Vietnamese pork roll and bottled water.
After the tournament, everyone was
treated with sumptuous lunch of either
angus beef burger, crumbed fish or 200 g
sirloin steak at the Fairview Café & Bistro.

THE Lynhamira Cup organised by Tee-
Riffic Birdies Puro Golf Ltd held at Fairfield
Golf Course on September 30, 2017 was won
Ramon Estoque as over-all champion.
Estoque was awarded with tall trophy,
the right to engrave his name in the
perpetual shield, and a $150 cash prize.
Grade winners who were awarded with
a trophy each and $75 cash prize. They were:
Tony Ferriera for A, Leo Linsao for B and
Edgar Acebe for C.
Grade runners-up who were awarded
with trophy plus $50 cash each were Rhoel
del Rosario for A, Manny Ventura for B and
Richard Rilveria for C.
Feature 18-hole winners such as
nearest-the-pin (par 3), longest drives (par 5)
and best drive-and-pitch (par 4) were each
awarded a sleeve of golf balls.
The tournament was followed by
sumptuous babecue lunch, courtesy of the
volunteers.

Carlos Toto Quintana thanked everyone and
