ONE MOMENT IN TIME
An art capturing
a super full moon
WHEN that super full moon
first made its appearance
here in our area it was
cloudy and overcast, so I
got to see very little.

But this time around (on December 12-13,
2016), the conditions were just perfect: clear
skies with just a touch of cloud to add colour
and atmosphere.
And the sun was just setting nicely with a
touch of pinkish-orange.
Would you believe that the birds also
came to reward me with my dream-wish for a
bird-and-moon shot? I felt blessed.
It was early evening, around six thirty or
seven, when the light was still strong and there
were no clouds.
Companions of the magpie joined the
twilight chorus
"Oh Lord, my God
When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds
Thy hands have made
I see the stars
I hear the rolling thunder
Thy power throughout
The universe displayed
Then sings my soul
My Savior, God, to Thee
How great thou art..." n
