AS readers go through this July issue of AK NewsMagazine, they
will notice a change in format.
AK has opted out of the traditional newspaper delivery of news to
one of a magazine-cum-newspaper design.
The reason for this is simple: Readers have long enjoyed the
benefits of four Filipino newspapers in practically the same format,
with emphasis being on straight-news at the front followed by
opinion pieces and features.
AK now brings magazine-style feature stories to the front, with
opinions and news taking a back seat, feature stories with news
value as well as timeless feature stories and pictures that tell of what
Filipinos bring to this country.
July issue is just the start. AK's look and content will gradually
evolve into a newsmagazine that will give the Filipino community and
the mainstream something new.
