In a dialogue initiated by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) at its main office in Pasig City, OFW groups shared their issues and concerns, particularly on the planned upward adjustment in the premium contribution rates starting 2018. Overseas Voter Registration Centers for the 2019 National Elections now operational in Metro Manila PASAY CITY -- The Department of Foreign Affairs, Overseas Voting Secretariat (DFA-OVS) announces that overseas voter registration centers for the 2019 National Elections are now operational in Metro Manila The DFA-OVS advises overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) as well as immigrants, seafarers, and students who are about to leave for abroad, and who are not yet registered as Overseas Voter, may now register to vote, for the 2019 National Elections. Solana Sts., Intramuros, continue to page 2 MANILA -- In support and celebration of the Philippine chairmanship of the 50th founding anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) will be hosing the ASEAN Invitational Philatelic Exhibit (ASEANPEx) 2017 on November 4 to 6, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. “As host country, we believe that this is also a great opportunity for us to showcase the world-class tourist destinations in the country, the unique Philippine biodiversity and of course, our colorful culture and history,” PHLPost Assistant Postmaster General for Marketing and Management Support Services Luis D. This year’s three-day “ASEANPEx 2017: Exploring the beauty and diversity of ASEAN culture and tradition.” It will be attended by ambassadors, dignitaries from other ASEAN countries, heads from various government sectors, celebrities and other personalities, students, philatelist, and other enthusiasts. ASEANPEx is a showcase of stamps and other philatelic products from the 10 ASEAN countries featuring current issuances, as well as rare and collector’s item stamps.
