Held at the Dominique Hotel in Tagaytay City last month, the oath-taking officiated by Engr. Marcelino Javier, Jr., Chief of the Water Quality Section EMBQuezon City. It was facilitated by EMB Region IV-A Regional Director Engineer Carlos Magno. During the oath taking, the Governing Rules was approved and the Action Plan was reviewed and evaluated. It was agreed upon by the officers and members of the governing board that the action plan will be finalized and for approval for the next board meeting. The Imus, YlangYlang, Rio Grande river systems encompasses the cities of Tagaytay, Dasmariñas, Imus, Bacoor and the towns of Silang, Amadeo, General Trias, Noveleta and Kawit. continued on page 2 TRECE MARTIRES CITY, CAVITE – It was an early Christmas treats to the 1,314 children who received simple gifts, food and treated with fun and games initiated by the Provincial Council for the Protection of Children (PCPC) on their annual Gift-AGift project for less privileged children from different cities and towns in the province; part of the year-round program of the provincial government for Caviteño kids. The project aimed to share love and the spirit of giving to less privileged children through acts of kindness genuinely extended by employees to their chosen beneficiaries In partnership with different departments of the provincial government, the activity was conducted in fourteen community-based institutions in Tagaytay City, Cavite City, and the cities of Dasmariñas, Imus and Bacoor, and municipalities of Amadeo, Naic, Silang and Gen. Trias. In a statement released by the Provincial Information and Community Affairs Department (PICAD), this annual gift giving is also a way to make the children feel the love and care of the people around them and also a means to encourage employees from different departments of the provincial government to become advocates of children’s rights and welfare.
