SUPER COMPACT
ANDREW DYSON
Andrew Dyson has been racing since he was 16 years old after being born into a drag racing family. Now 44, Dyson lays claim
to the 2016/2017 Super Compact title.
Fun with friends and family is not only a major drawcard of the sport for Dyson, but is also a key to his on-track success, with
the Geelong racer thanking his twin brother Craig as well as Andrew Darby from Moolap Muffl ers for all the unpaid hours
of work they do on his car.
This season, he is hoping to see more and more Super Compact guys out and racing. Away from the track, Dyson is a farmer.
His main product is something you might not expect: fl ower bulbs. “It is something completely unrelated to anything
automotive, it makes working on cars more interesting I think because it is so diff erent,” he explained.
