Lee Bektash dominated Pro Stock at the 2017 ANDRA Grand Finals, not only top qualifying, but also resetting the ANDRA
1000ft National ET and National MPH records for the class on his way to winning the event and as a result, his second Pro
Stock ANDRA National Championship.
The Adelaide outing was the fi nal ANDRA event in the Victorian racer’s farewell tour, after he announced earlier in the year
he would step away from drag racing for the foreseeable future following the close of the 16/17 season.
Bektash’s 16/17 title was his second consecutive ANDRA National Pro Stock title, after he broke through for his fi rst in the
15/16 season. It capped off a racing career of 25 years across a variety of brackets.
