CHILDREN’S WORKSHOPS
The Children’s workshop program explores a full array of artistic disciplines with this
core goal: to engage, develop and inspire young artists. A dynamic range of workshops
for ages 4 to 17 allows students to try new media, learn different techniques and explore
ideas. Instructors, parents, friends and staff celebrate the outcomes of each project, and
the collaborative journey of art making. The Evelyn and Martin Siegel Children’s Building
is equipped with a large studio space and the facilities for each project. There is a supply
closet stocked with resources, an electric kiln, a children’s book library, digital technology
and a wonderful outdoor area. Children participating in all-day workshops should bring a
sack lunch; adult supervision will be provided during lunch.
