Greetings!
If you are paging through this catalog, you are contemplating exciting new possibilities for yourself. At Anderson
Ranch, our mission – to provide transformative experiences that celebrate artists, art-making, creative dialog
and community – focuses on helping you grow, change and access your inner creativity.
The possibilities are limitless in our workshops and programs. Regardless of how you come to Anderson
Ranch, you may leave a different person. We hear a lot about the word “transformative,” but truly, that is the
result of the Anderson Ranch experience.

This summer, we offer 145 workshops for all ages and levels of experience. If you are a beginning artist, we
welcome you to the Ranch with 35 workshops designed specially for you. For beginners to advanced artists,
our “Open to All” workshops provide an opportunity to work with students of every level in all of our program
areas. For more advanced artists, higher-level workshops will have appeal. The Ranch’s children’s program for
kids ages four to teens is creative, fun and educational.
If you are not sure which is the right workshop for you, please feel free to contact the Artistic Directors listed
on page 3. They are ready and eager to help you find just the right workshop to get started.
Our faculty changes weekly, with 120 faculty members, the best and brightest artists/teachers from throughout
the world, sharing one-on-one with you in small classes. Fully committed to making sure that your experience
here is outstanding, the Ranch’s professional staff offers support as you learn new tools and techniques, and
our state-of-the-art Ranch studios are open 24/7 for your use.
Let the rhythm of the Ranch absorb you, with twice-weekly evening guest faculty lectures, and talks by some
of the world’s leading contemporary artists in our Featured Artists Series.
The Anderson Ranch experience is like no other. You may believe that you are coming here for a summer
