This workshop introduces the technical aspects of digital photography and the concepts behind photographic images. The emphasis is on skill building, creative picture making, editing and evaluating images. Students leave with a thorough knowledge of what the camera’s controls do and which ones are best for each style of shooting. Instruction includes apertures, shutters, equivalent exposures, using available light, portraiture and other conceptual topics. The atmosphere in this five-day workshop is one of exploration, practice and play. This class is for anyone new to digital SLR or for anyone interested in fully exploring all its functions. At all levels, we enjoy taking pictures in amazing locales. CONCEPT:  Learn to love the digital workflow using Adobe Lightroom. Developed by photographers for photographers, Lightroom’s workflow seamlessly integrates photo file management, processing and presentation in a single software environment. We discuss every step of the digital photographer’s workflow, from raw capture to creative processing to final output as digital prints. Adobe Lightroom  MEDIA & TECHNIQUES: Digital camera with manual exposure capabilities and tripod; Adobe Lightroom to import, edit and print images. AC
