Skill Level: II - IV
Concept: Interested in starting a woodworking
hobby? Or already involved in woodturning and
interested in improving your skills? Learn to
produce bowls of all sizes and shapes focusing
on form, design and texture. We emphasize
proper use of tools and ample studio time on
the lathe.
Concept: This workshop is an open studio
for people with woodturning experience. As
a class we work together to help find your
personal voice. We discuss basic principals
of three-dimensional design and better understand how it applies to our work. An open mind
is essential for this course.
Media & Techniques: Our medium is wood,
both green and kiln-dried. Techniques include
woodturning on a lathe.
