woodturning The Woodturning program unites exciting workshops with extraordinary faculty. Workshops range from traditional woodturning to innovative approaches in contemporary art and design. If you want to advance your skills and expand your creative imagination, then we have a workshop for you. The Pryor Turning Studio is outfitted with nine workstations, each equipped with a lathe and set of tools. Alan Stirt, Faceted Bowl Alan Stirt, Yellow Burst Pattern woodturning skill levels: June 7 - 11 June 14 - 18 Open to all – Students of any skill and knowledge level. Level I – Students are new to woodturning and have no formal training. Level II – Students have a basic understanding of fundamental turning tools and techniques and are comfortable using and sharpening bowl gouges and spindle gouges.
