Is there anything more fun than being covered with wood shavings and drenched by flying droplets released by revolving green wood? These events are part of the fun of woodturning. In this workshop, everyone makes several projects on the lathe, including bowls, candlesticks and even bowling pins. Media & Techniques:  Kiln-dried and green wood, milk paint, dyes and other finishes; fundamentals of bowl and spindle carving on the lathe, safe use of power tools and hand tools, basic tool and wood selection, sharpening, finishing techniques and adding texture.
