Concept: Explore and invent ways of weaving
in three dimensions. Learn the fundamentals
of sculptural weaving techniques based on traditions that go back thousands of years: twining, plaiting and random weave. Students use
traditional and non-traditional materials, and
learn techniques as a springboard to adapt,
integrate and explore his or her own sculptural
