throwing skills helpful.

Skill Level:  Open to all, with a basic understanding of throwing and handbuilding being
helpful.

CONCEPT: Using the wheel as a springboard for
ideas of form and shape, students experiment
with altering the round form, handbuilding and
other methods of construction. Christa’s daily
demonstrations include throwing component
parts, cutting and reassembling forms off the
original axis, stacking and nesting pieces, and
