Concept:  Embrace the opportunity to expand
the size of your watercolor paintings. This
intermediate water-media workshop focuses
on working in a large-scale format. Students
bring images and an idea of the composition
they want to work with, and then translate it to
a large-format watercolor.

Concept: In this workshop, students learn how
to use systems (numbers, patterns, repetition,
process) as the vehicle to develop painting/
drawing-based work that expands into installation. The class explores the production of
images through the use of systems, enabling
the conception of ideas and processes that generate context and content. Students develop
their own languages and methods to facilitate
the transformation of two-dimensional thinking
into three-dimensional painting installation.
