field expeditions: 2D FILM AND DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY, 3D CERAMICS
September 12 - 19, 2009

We will meet in Stornoway, the main town on the Isle of
Lewis. Our headquarters will be the Caberfeidh Hotel for
three intensive days of photographing as we explore Lewis
before we move on to the Hotel Hebrides on the Isle of Harris. Both islands are rich with archaeological remains, burial
mounds, ancient standing stones and satellite stone circles.

All field sessions include constant hands-on and example-led
photography instruction with individual guidance and problem
solving. Using laptop computers and Adobe Lightroom, we will
spend evenings processing, editing and discussing our images.
