additional opportunities
summer internships
Each summer, Anderson Ranch Arts Center provides a variety of internship
opportunities in conjunction with the summer workshops. Interns become a
part of the Ranch family to uncover, develop and stretch their creative spirits in the
visual arts. Interns have the opportunity not only to assist in summer workshops and
events, but also to work with and meet artists and gifted instructors in a supportive
community. A number of internships are available in all the artistic departments and
in the administrative offices. The effort and teamwork of talented interns in artistic,
administrative and other departments helps to provide the high- quality learning
experience for which the Ranch is known.

fall & spring Artists-in-Residence Program
The Anderson Ranch Artists-in-Residence program is designed to foster
creative, intellectual and personal growth for emerging and established visual
artists. Finalists are chosen on the basis of artistic merit by an independent jury of
established working artists. Those chosen live and work at Anderson Ranch for a tenweek residency period. Residencies are offered to 28 artists in two terms each year:
spring and fall. Online application deadline is February 15, 2015.

January Studio Concentrations
Anderson Ranch’s three-week Studio Concentration is designed for artists
to immerse themselves in the studio practice of their choice, while working
alongside established faculty in an environment free of outside distractions.
Guest faculty have student contact on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, allowing
for solo studio practice for students on Tuesdays and Thursdays. With 24-hour
access to personal studio space, the Studio Concentrations are ideal for fostering
experimentation and implementing ideas and conceptual suggestions from faculty.
