Seokmin tilts his head, confused, “Know what?” “Minghao. Is a werewolf,” Mingyu can’t bear to look Seokmin in the eyes. It’s just he feels failed to recognize his best friend after all these years. He’s supposed to be able to help him through it. All the pain and fear of getting caught has been with Minghao ever since he met them but Mingyu didn’t realize it at all. “A minute ago,” Seokmin answers with honesty. He pats Mingyu on the head, fingers slowly carding on his brown hair. “Listen. I didn’t know about it before this. Either Minghao is really good at hiding it, or we both are just dense. I knew it when I recognized the scar in his neck. And the full moon. I used to think it was just a birthmark, but it was so similar with a shape of claw marks. Now it all make sense.” Mingyu huffs, clearly annoyed at being treated like a sulking child but Seokmin can see he’s a bit consoled. He’s quiet for a while before he mutters, “Is this just a dream? I mean, do we just happen to dream about Minghao being werewolf?” “No idea,” Seokmin shrugs, pocketing his wand. “Only one way to figure it out.” “How?” “Let’s make a Wolfsbane Potion to help him back to human form and ask him for the truth.” A frown appears in Mingyu’s face, “That sounds so easy. Do you know how to make the potion?” Seokmin answers with a smile, “We can go to Professor Slughorn’s class and get the Advanced Potion Making book though. And all the ingredients are probably there.” “Wow, okay, you’re brilliant,” he breathes out. (Seokmin is a Hufflepuff by heart, but sometimes his wit is really close to Ravenclaw’s. He manages to get out from the trouble by the easiest way that people may ignore because they don’t think as simple as Seokmin does.) “Let’s go then,” Seokmin leads the way, Mingyu tails after him with his wand ready. (Mingyu, a true lion heart, is always the protector between the three of them.) Their journey to the Potion class is quiet. The dream-Hogwarts has no occupants other than them, it makes them easier to reach the room but also makes them anxious by how complete silence wraps up the dream-castle. “I have no idea Minghao’s dream is muted like this,” Mingyu mumbles as Seokmin pushes the door open. “He’s always been the quietest between us but his dream plane is scary.”
