“As if they matter to you! They only get scared of me, the Nightmare!” Corinthian lifts his hand to blow Morpheus with his power, but it doesn’t affect him at all. “The Dreaming is now unstable, because you let your guard down and someone managed to kidnap you. I was so close to own the Dreaming but then unfortunately you’ve came back!” “They matter to me because when I give them dreams, Corinthian. Hope is so much powerful than fear. It’s time for you to think over human suffering.” Wonwoo doesn’t even dare to close his eyes when Morpheus binds Corinthian with a spell and walks closer to him. But he does flinch with the way Morpheus gently places his hand on the top of Corinthian’s eyes and the creature just—vanishes into nothing. It’s enough to make Wonwoo shivers, now that he realizes how strong the power that the dream holds. “Thank you, and I apologize for the mess he made,” Morpheus says with the same calm tone. He helps Wonwoo to stand up, “I made him to balance out the Dreaming. But I guess he forgot his purpose after all this decade haunting human.” Wonwoo nods dumbly, “It’s nothing at all, sir.” He mentally slaps himself for calling such a majestic celestial being like Morpheus ‘sir’, but the addressed person just smiles. “One day I might need helps from you all, one day. Dream a little bit more,” he says before he too, vanishes into the air. “That was… strange,” Jihoon breaks the silence when Wonwoo comes over, immediately gathering Soonyoung into his embrace. “I mean I don’t usually get spooked—We, out of all people shouldn’t get spooked, but that really made me feel the chill.” Soonyoung punches him in the arm as an answer, “Why are you so stupid? Bargaining with Nightmare?” Jihoon frowns, rubbing on the sore spot. “It’s in my nature, you know it. We’ve been together for like, decades.” He shifts his gaze to Wonwoo, who has the stern look on his face, and sighs, “Sorry, Wonwoo-ya.” “Next time you did something like this, I’ll let Uncle Loki knows.” It might scare Jihoon a bit, though Wonwoo knows it will make no difference, knowing that the mischief runs on their blood. “My mood is now completely off,” Soonyoung huffs. “Hereby I awarded the worst Hallo -ween in the entire life.”
