People are flooding the streets, ranged from children running in their cute bee costume and witch hat to adults with their cheap plastic horns. Wonwoo watches their followers slowly part ways from the line and mingle around between human. The ghosts are probably going back home, to visit the family they left. The monsters? Human will need a real jumpscare in Halloween night, anyway. As long as no one makes chaos, Wonwoo feels like he can breathe a little. (The perks of being God of Death’s son. He doesn’t have to be alive to stay breathing) “Relax,” Soonyoung nudges him with his hip. “Live up to the night a bit, Wonwoo-ya.” Wonwoo snorts, waving his hands in front of his face to change his look. The previously normal human head slowly shifts into a daemon’s head. It’s covered with glistening black fur, with sharp and long antlers standing straight gracefully and a pair of blank, red eyes peering inside your soul. The strange beak-shaped mouth seems to form a smirk. “Better?” “Much better,” Soonyoung grins. A pair of furry black ears pop at the top of his blond mop of hair, along with a jackal tail on his back. “Woof.” “You’re not a dog, Soonyoung. Jackal is not actually—" “When you guys done, we got to move on or we will run out of the candies,” Jihoon makes a disgusted face, but Wonwoo and Soonyoung know it’s harmless. They have been together for millennia, a little love doesn’t actually faze the son of Loki. “Alright, where to first, captain?” Soonyoung asks. He lets go of Wonwoo’s hand and the cold returns, so Wonwoo immediately shoves it to his long coat’s pocket. Living in the Underworld since he was born doesn’t make him immune to the temperature, though. Both Soonyoung and Jihoon are excitedly knocking at houses, displaying innocent smiles when the adults give them a handful of candies. Wonwoo himself isn’t a merry person, so he opts to watch them from the street while watching over the entire scene that is happening in front of him.
