It is an opportunity to reconcile our competing and
conflicting values and find common ground in our collective
conscience—our Community of Conscience. This year, AJC
and America’s Table call on people of goodwill to join our
Community of Conscience and to stand united against the
hateful and divisive rhetoric that has tarnished the nation’s
political discourse.
We hope that by reading America’s Table and the nine
principles of a just community, you will find new meaning
in this much loved and unifying holiday of Thanksgiving
because, yes, we are all Americans and part of the rich
tapestry of this land.
