All in all, students and staff need to be more aware about racism. It is not something we should take lightly. Everyone has a different view, and we all need to be sensitive. Most white students I interviewed have neither experienced racism nor think it is a big problem. I think it is hard to understand or try to feel something they have never experienced. Trying to step into someone’s shoes who is not like you may be very hard, but it is something we all need to try. Maybe we could even breakout of our box and make some new friends. "If you walk in the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew.

Ms. Casey: There is some discrimination. I have heard the N word in the halls. Racism is a learned behavior. Racism should be zero tolerance.

Grace McLoud & Landon Adams: There could be, but we do not see it or experience it. There are jokes, but they are just jokes. We have grown up in an environment with many ethnicities where it is okay to be different.
