America has been hearing three sides of the story: media, police, and protesters. All sides try to make their perspective seem correct or try to draw more attention to their story. The media has taken this story and has blown it out of proportion, focusing completely on the negative of both the protestors and the police force. They have taken this public issue and sensationalized it to build more tension. The Rioters and protesters have taken the incident and turned it to something unnecessary, pushing all of the blame on the police of Ferguson. The police have taken action and pushed the blame on the riots. Both the sensationalizing and the blaming has made this city weaker and has made it look bad, which has left America without seeing the truth.

Through all of these events, America is still left with questions. Was the shooting an act of racism? Are the police at fault for protecting the city? Are the protesters at fault for looting and rioting? Is rioting ever justified? Does racism continue to run deep within America’s law enforcement? No perspective is perfectly accurate. Where do we find the truth about what really happened?
