"Kill Segregation or Be Killed by It."
“Kill segregation or be killed by it”--these words of Fred Shuttlesworth became famous during the Civil Right Movement. Fred Shuttlesworth was born on March 18, 1922. He began as a pastor at Birmingham’s Bethel Baptist Church; the Brown v. Education had moved him to make a change and became a part of the growing Civil Rights Movement.
Fred started making a difference right away.
