TOPIC SUMMARY
In a country of 320 million people , most of whom come from immigrant heritage , we expect to encounter much diversity . Even so , we are taken aback by the incredible tapestry revealing itself as we interview people who chose to make the United States their home .
They range from the impoverished to the wealthy . Some arrived via first class air , and others barely survived a boat trip in a dinghy . Some run Fortune 500 Corporations , and others care for special needs children . They come from all parts of the world and for any number of reasons . All weave their unique skills , worldview , culinary preferences , language , and culture into the fabric known as America .
