A decade ago, if you had predicted that US-headquartered giants from the automotive industry would be
setting up greenfield and brownfield manufacturing
operations in Macedonia, even the country’s greatest
optimists would have expressed doubt. At that time, a
single investor, Johnson Controls, started operations
in Skopje’s Technological Industrial Development Zone
