AmCham Macedonia Spring 2017 (Issue 53) | Page 2

Spring 2017 / Issue 53 Spring 2017 / Issue 53 Dear AmCham Macedonia members and friends - Welcome to the spring 2017 edition of Am- Cham Magazine. This issue highlights labor market challenges in Macedonia, with insight- ful contributions from a number of our very talented member representatives in addition to interviews with the Director of the Vocation- al Education & Training Center and of USAID Macedonia’s Youth Employability Skills Net- work project. I hope you’ll find it informative and useful. You’ll see in the AmCham News section of this issue just how busy we’ve been, organizing gatherings on topics ranging from connecting local suppliers with international companies; business-university cooperation and; CSR best practices. None of these activities would have been possible without the impressive member support and volunteerism that makes our orga- nization unique. While the country continues to grapple with difficult political challenges this spring and summer, AmCham will continue to serve its members with networking and learning op- portunities, including the continuation of our Member to Member Learning Series. These ses- sions have proven to be valuable educational and promotional opportunities for our members. AmCham hosts 1-2 such sessions per month in its premises, recruits relevant attendees and covers all logistics and related costs. Presenting members just need to come prepared to share their knowledge, strengthen their network and build their brand. Please contact the Executive Office if you’re interested!
