The Ambassador of the United States of America to
the Republic of Macedonia, Jess Bailey, emphasized that
AmCham Macedonia is the most active foreign and local
business association in the business community, pointing
out the importance of the participation of the business
community in democratic developments and changes in
the country, as well as the possibility of progress, market
expansion, corruption, increasing transparency and predict-
ability of business policies as several of the many benefits of
the country’s NATO membership.
The working part of the Assembly was led by the
AmCham Macedonia Executive Director Diana Despodov
who presented the report on the realized activities and proj-
ects in the past 12 months, emphasizing the impressive
percentages of members’ involvement in the activities of
the chamber.
