Ambassadors | Page 9

CWC Rocks was one of student ambassadors first projects. We collected rocks, painted them and put uplifting words and sayings on them.

The goal was to spread positivity around campus by placing them in different locations so students could pass by them. Spreading positivity is one of our main goals as ambassadors and CWC Rocks was a fun and creative way to do this.

I placed one of the rocks outside my apartment and I had a few of my teammates and peers ask what it was for.

They all had a positive reaction to it and one said, “Every time I see that rock, it reminds me that I’m going to have a good day!”

It is still sitting outside and every time I see it, I remember to keep my head up, be positive and spread that to others. It is such a simple thing, that makes a big difference.

Positivity is key in life. There are many things we can’t control but there is one thing we are always in control of and that is ourselves.

Sometimes it can be hard to stay positive when life is not going our way but we have others to help lift us up.

Don’t be afraid to reach out to someone when you are in need. If you find a rock, it can become a chain reaction and you can place it somewhere new for someone else to find. You can also take a picture with the rock you find, post it and use the hashtag #cwcrocks.

Be someone who spreads positivity, builds others up and continues to make CWC Rock!
