Personally, a leader to me is being responsible for my actions and showing authenticity in it. As a leader, it is important to be true to yourself, because leaders are usually people who follow what they need to follow not what they want to do.

The world’s greatest leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr, Mahatma Gandi or Nelson Mandela have caused a great change in the world not because they wanted to do it, but they had a desire to change something that was morally unacceptable.

Leaders stand out with their positive energy, moral support or even with their rationality. As a leader, it is important to bring out the best in people so they inspire you, as a leader, to bring positivity to the table.

For leaders, it matters to be rational because they seek the truth. Thus, it matters for leaders to be authentic and always choose the right choice.

The student ambassadors are there when Central Wyoming College or the community needs help. It is an important factor that we, as a group are trying our best to help out because all leaders tend to give a hand to those who are in need.

As student ambassadors, we try to be engaged in the community and help as much as we can with its growth. It is not always about helping, I have always looked at it as a “boomerang effect.” If you give help, help will come back in one way or another.

One way it usually comes back is that, as we help the community to grow, it helps us to grow as a leaders. So in my opinion, being a student ambassador means helping CWC or the community people around me grow.
