AMA INSIDER
Welcome
to AMA Insider
New look and feel, but the same
great offers and rewards
THE BEGINNING of a new year not only
offers us a chance to reflect on times
gone by, but also to look forward to the
changes and advancements that the
year ahead is certain to bring. On that
note, I am pleased to introduce to you
the first issue of our newly renamed
and redesigned member magazine.
As you have heard me say many
times, our Association’s strength comes
from the people who
belong to it, and it
seemed to me that
it was time for our
magazine to tie itself
more closely to the
organization. While
the name Westworld
has graced this cover
for many years, I feel
the new name, AMA
Insider, makes a
stronger connection
to AMA and to the
magazine’s purpose:
To give our members
an insider’s look at
the value of membership, a look at
the people inside AMA delivering
that value, and some inspiration, tips
and advice to help you live your best
life. And for those of you who love
our travel stories, have no fear—you’ll
still find all of our great travel-related
content.
Good things get better when they
evolve and adapt. That’s always been
our approach at AMA. We recognize
that great content is one of the main
reasons you love our magazine, so
we are working with a new publisher
whose approach to content extends far
beyond our quarterly print magazine.
We’re deeply committed to bringing
you great stories from across our Association and Alberta. So we are launching a new AMA Insider website to
deliver fresh, quality content to you on
an ongoing basis.
In upcoming issues, you’ll find news
and information about AMA’s initiatives in the community—from Shredding Events and free Car Care Clinics
to Seniors’ Driving Evaluations. We’re
preparing columns for travellers, auto
enthusiasts and members interested in
saving money and maintaining their
home. Plus, the new “Weekender” section highlights local finds, so you can
explore our own beautiful Alberta backyard.
We’ve added a family
section for our Kids Go
Free members. (If you
haven’t heard about
it yet, Kids Go Free is
a new benefit for our
members’ kids, 15 years
old or younger.) Register your kids to receive
AMA coverage and
benefits under your
Plus or Premier membership for free.
This year, we expect
our AMA family to
grow to be a million strong. That’s a
million people supporting safer communities and earning real savings and
rewards—beyond the roadside assistance coverage and peace of mind that
come with membership.
Nearly a million Albertans see that
we listen and deliver products and
services that are important to them.
I am pleased that so many of you take
time to share your thoughts with me.
It’s feedback from members like you
that continue to make our Association
relevant and valuable. You can always
reach me at [email protected]
