At the end of the town line, two fox siblings stood. Their welcome was overstayed with the town’s people. With parents gone, there was no one to look after them now.

“Good riddance!” Mr. Pig shouted.

“Are you sure it’s safe to let them go?” Mrs. Rabbit asked.

“Why not? They have each other, what more could they need?” Mr. Rabbit argued.

“Foxes are such sly, tricky creatures! About time they left!” Ms. Doe yelled.

The children went into the woods while the sun began to set.
