This piece was inspired by my love of horror and thriller novels. In particular, I am inspired by authors such a Stephen King and Nora Roberts. I love that there are always psychological twists in their works and that things are not always as they appear. That is what I attempted to accomplish with this piece. I enjoy exploring the dark side of humanity as well as the fear of the unknown and supernatural. In a world where everyone desires love and marriage, some men get more than their fair share of prizes. Luke is handsome, smooth, and richer than God. He certainly has his pick of the fairest of the fair, some would say he is quite the lady killer. When he puts a ring on beautiful, young Angelique’s finger, she had better be prepared, for she won’t be the only lady of the manor.

This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics,

very popular during the Renaissance.
