I’m NaKayla M. Spicer, a graduate of Mount Mary University’s English Creative Writing program. I’ve been writing since I was a little girl, storytelling actually. I love to examine relationships and the way that they do or don’t work, be it romantic couples, parents and children, or friends. I like to dive deep enough where individuals can see themselves and how others perceive their responses to difficult situations. My goal is to bring light to familiar situations that often go unmentioned, examining the struggles with communication.
