NUHS News NUHS Florida to Open Veterans Clinic National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) is pleased to announce the grand opening of its Veteran’s Clinic in the NUHS Whole Health Center, Pinellas Park, Florida, on Friday, September 7. The clinic will be open Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and will join its sister location in Lombard, Illinois. “NUHS is thrilled to open the new Veteran’s Clinic in Florida, because these services have made such a positive difference for our veterans in Illinois. We are able to provide greater access to care and an increased scope of services,” said Daniel Strauss, DC, Dean of the College of Professional Studies, National University-Florida. In alignment with the Lombard site, the Pinellas Park clinic will specialize in treating a wide variety of injuries and disorders that affect combat veterans, including: post-traumatic stress Whole Health Center, disorder (PTSD), addiction, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic Pinellas Park, Florida pain. The facility will offer natural and drug-free health options, as well as the ability to co-manage patients’ treatment plans with their physicians. Acupuncture services will be free of charge to veterans through the generous sponsorship of China-Gel®. The new Veteran’s Clinic will offer a wide-range of health care services, including: chiropractic, acupuncture, physical rehabilitation, and laboratory tests. 17
