Diagnostic Imaging Residents Participate

in Hospital Opportunity

A new opportunity at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital allows NUHS diagnostic imaging residents and clinical interns the ability to study and learn from a wide array of patient cases available among the hospital's large patient population. After viewing the images, NUHS residents and the hospital's radiologists discuss not only the surgical outcomes, but also what conservative measures, such as chiropractic, can be taken before moving to surgery. National University expanded its efforts to ensure complementary and alternative care reaches more underserved populations. In addition to sponsoring the research portion of the conference, six NUHS students also volunteered at the IM4US (Integrative Mecicine for the Underserved) Conference aimed at spreading awareness about integrative medicine to interdisciplinary health care providers and students.
